Ecopro is the manufacturer focus on the production of compostable products, and we only use hydro-biodegradable plastic for production, for instance, you would only see PBAT, PLA, or Cornstarch mixed resin in our warehouse.
We have 2 category of resins, home compost material and industrial compost material.
Home compost material is certified by BPI ASTM D5810/6400 (US), TUV home compost (EU), Seedling (EU), EN13432 (EU), and ABAP (AUS). This material made product could be compost with compost bin at home, or in a proper degradation environment. After it is degraded, it would turn into oxygen and carbon dioxide.
Our home compost material has both food and non-food grade to suit your business needs. The food grade home compost material is meeting with the FDA and EU standard.
Industrial compost material is certified by BPI ASTM D5810/6400 (US), TUV industrial compost (EU), Seedling (EU), and EN13432 (EU). This material made products could be compost in local compost facility. After it is degraded, it would turn into oxygen and carbon dioxide.
Our industrial compost material has both food and non-food grade to suit your business needs. The food grade home compost material is meeting with the FDA and EU standard.
For printing material, we only offer EN13432 graded water ink. This ink is eligible for home compost and industrial compost. It is safe for food contact.
In summary, from raw material to printing ink, all the components of our products are meeting with different countries’ compostable standard, and good for the environment.
